Career Wise bursaries help students by covering various expenses related to their studies.
The amount of funding you receive depends on the bursary provider. Some of the costs covered include:

Funding Duration and Renewal
Once you are awarded a bursary, the funding is provided for one academic year.
However, depending on the bursary provider, you may be able to renew your bursary for the following years.
To remain eligible for renewal, you must meet the academic requirements set by Career Wise and the bursary provider.
Who Can Apply?
To apply for the Career Wise bursary, you must meet the following requirements:
- You must have completed Matric.
- You must be studying or planning to study towards an undergraduate qualification in one of the listed fields.
- You must be entering your 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of study.
- You must be studying at a public Higher Education and Training (HET) institution in South Africa.
Steps to Apply
- Visit the Career Wise bursary application page.
- Login to your profile: Use your email address and password to access your account.
- Fill in all required details and upload your supporting documents. These documents are essential, and missing any may result in disqualification.
Required Documents
- A profile picture
- A certified copy of your ID document
- Your Matric certificate or latest academic results
- Proof of acceptance or provisional acceptance at a public HET institution
- Proof of registration at a public HET institution (if available)
- Your university academic record (if currently studying)
- Your latest fee statement (if currently studying)

If you have applied before, you do not need to apply again. Just update your results and contact details.
