Bursary Coverage
The WSP Bursary provides financial assistance to cover essential study costs.
This includes tuition fees, prescribed books, and possibly other expenses related to your education.
In addition to financial support, bursary recipients may also have the chance to gain work experience through vacation jobs and future employment opportunities at WSP.
Funding Duration and Renewal
This bursary is for students in their second, third, or final year of study in 2025.
The funding will cover one academic year at a time.
Students must maintain good academic performance to qualify for renewal.
If you pass all your subjects and achieve an overall average of at least 60%, you may be considered for continued funding in the following year.
Who Can Apply?
- Be a South African citizen.
- Have completed Matric.
- Be studying towards a degree in one of the listed engineering or environmental science fields.
- Be in your 2nd, 3rd, or final year of study in 2025.
- Be studying at a recognised and accredited South African university.
- Have a minimum overall average of 60% for your qualification so far.
- Have passed all subjects for the 2024 academic year.
- Be passionate about engineering and dedicated to your studies.
- Not be receiving any other bursary or scholarship funding.
- Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged candidates.

- Prepare your documents: Make sure you have clear copies of the following required documents:
- Certified copy of your ID document.
- Certified proof of university registration.
- Most recent full academic transcript or progress report (stamped by the university).
- Updated CV with your contact details (phone number and email).
- A signed letter declaring that you are not receiving any other bursary or scholarship.
- Submit your application: Ensure all required documents are attached and complete before submission. Missing documents may result in disqualification.
